I’m Rohan Rawat, and I’m proud to be a core part of Himalaya Shelter (HS), one of India’s most experienced and respected trekking companies, with over a decade of dedication to safe and soulful Himalayan exploration. What makes my role at HS so meaningful is the chance to share the magic of the mountains with trekkers from around the world. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to be involved in a wide range of Himalayan expeditions—from challenging crossovers like the Bali Pass Trek and Pin Bhaba Pass Trek to scenic, family-friendly trails like the Dayara Bugyal Trek and Chopta Chandrashila Trek. Each trek—from the spiritual Gaumukh Tapovan and heritage-rich Har Ki Dun, to snow-laden routes like Kedarkantha and Dodital, and high-altitude gems like the Kashmir Great Lakes and Kuari Pass—has left a lasting mark on me. My journey with HS is more than a profession; it’s a calling rooted in respect for nature, passion for trekking, and a desire to guide others to the heart of the Himalayas.
